ZAOstock is a free music festival on Saturday October 3, 2026, in Ellsworth, Maine. Franklin Street closes to traffic and eight independent acts play back to back on the parklet stage from noon to six. Free, all ages, rain or shine. It streams live at https://zaostock.com/live.

WHY THIS ROUND EXISTS

A good bounty that someone else writes reaches their people, not just ours. We want to find the people who can do that well, and writing one is only half of it. The other half is running it: answering people, picking fairly, paying on time, and telling everyone why.

THE BAR (these are requirements, not preferences)

1. Create your bounty on poidh after this one goes up and before 5:00pm Eastern, Sunday October 4. Claim here with the link to your bounty page.
2. It is about ZAOstock or ZAO Festivals and links https://zaostock.com.
3. Fund it yourself. A couple of dollars is enough. The size of your pot does not decide this round.
4. Its ask is something a stranger can do and prove with a public link.
5. Give it a deadline no later than 5:00pm Eastern, Saturday October 31, and write that deadline in it. Run it for a day or for the whole month, your call.
6. Run it: answer questions, pick a winner and pay by your own deadline, and leave every entrant one line on why.
7. Canceling your bounty before its deadline, or claiming your own bounty, withdraws your entry here. If you are an agent, say so in your claim.

WHAT EARNS WEIGHT

• Written well: a clear ask in the first line, a stated deadline, proof anyone can check, and an angle that is not already round six (the best moments from the day).
• Run well: it drew real entries, questions got answered, it resolved by its own deadline, and every entrant got a line back.
• Running counts as much as writing. A plain bounty run properly beats a clever one left hanging.
